This Privacy Policy describes how TempShare ("we", "our", or "the Service") collects, uses, and handles information when you use our temporary file sharing service at this website. By using TempShare, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
⚠️ Important: Do not upload sensitive, private, confidential, legal, financial, or personally identifiable information to TempShare. This service is designed for ordinary file sharing only. Files are stored using third-party infrastructure and are not guaranteed to be permanently unavailable after expiry.
When you upload a file, we temporarily store the following metadata:
The file content itself is transmitted to and stored in a private Telegram channel (see Section 4). We do not read, analyze, or scan the content of your files.
All uploaded files are stored temporarily. File metadata expires automatically after 48 hours from the time of upload. After expiry, the share link becomes non-functional and the file can no longer be downloaded through TempShare.
We do not guarantee permanent deletion from all underlying infrastructure (see Section 4 on Telegram storage). If you require certified data deletion, do not use TempShare.
We do not make backups of uploaded files and do not retain file content on our own servers beyond what is transmitted to Telegram infrastructure.
TempShare uses the Telegram Bot API to store uploaded files in a private, access-controlled Telegram channel. This means your file content is transmitted to and stored on Telegram's servers, subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy.
Files in the private channel are not publicly accessible on Telegram. Access is restricted to the bot and channel administrators. However, we cannot make absolute guarantees about data handling at the infrastructure level. By using TempShare, you accept this arrangement.
Do not upload files you consider sensitive, private, or confidential.
TempShare displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites. Google's Privacy Policy applies to data collected through AdSense.
We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (page visits, device types, geographic regions). This data is anonymized and does not identify individual users. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
TempShare itself sets a single cookie to remember your dark/light mode preference. Third-party cookies may be set by Google AdSense and Google Analytics for advertising and analytics purposes, as described above.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. File metadata (name, size, type) is only used to display information on the download page. We share data with third parties only as described in this policy (Telegram for storage, Google for advertising/analytics).
TempShare is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used TempShare, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of TempShare after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
